Dean Kelly

Dean is a successful entrepreneur based in New York where he is focused on both operating and investing in the Health/Wellness and Longevity space. As an operator, Dean was the Co-CEO at Extension Health, a premium advanced longevity clinic based in New York and CEO of Gainful, the US's leading personalized performance nutrition company. He has invested in over 50 companies in the consumer health wellness and longevity space through his fund Axel Ventures (eg Celia Health, Superpower, Eucalytptus, Thea Ai, Function Health, Everlab, Lution Labs, TMRW, Empower Sleep, Peak Health, Anew, Blueprint, Kalos, Ra Optics, Tiny Health, Orion Sleep, Mechanism of Action and many others), and serves as a venture partner at Pari Passu Venture Partners who have 4000 strategic LPs in their platform and invest which also invests in Consumer Health/Wellness/Longevity/Ai/Defence. He is also a scout for many VCs in the US looking to invest in the most innovative longevity companies.

He sits on the board of the Health and Wellness Network of YPO and the board of the New York Metro Chapter of YPO. He is also the founder of the Health and Wellness Network Angel Investment Group which is 200 YPO CEOs investing in the longevity space together. He has spoken at various Health Summits globaly including the YPO Health and Wellness Summits, the Connected Fitness Summit, The Nutrition Business Journal Summit and many others.

Previously Dean was on the executive team at Zola and earlier ran the $800m+ pet supplies category across the US for all of Walmart's ecommerce channels after Walmart acquired Jet where Dean was an early GM. He has co-founded three global start up companies (HeyLets, Zanui (acquired) and Orbirental (acquired)). After completing both a Finance and Law Degree at UNSW, he began his career as a Senior Strategy Associate at Booz and Company, was the Head of Strategy at Football Federation Australia, and the Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships Manager in Malawi at the William J Clinton Foundation.
