The reception will bring together investors interested in longevity-related research and provide latest insights into the longevity industry.

The Longevity Investors Lunch is co-organised by Maximon, and the Longevity Investors Conference.

Prof. Dr. Evelyne Yehudit Bischof, MD, MPH

Professor, internal medicine specialist, Longevity physician at Human Longevity Inc.

Prof. Evelyne Bischof is a Chief Physician Associate of Internal Medicine at University Hospital Renji of Jiaotong University Shanghai and concierge longevity physician for executive longevity patients. Her research focus is oncology and longevity medicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital health, precision medicine, biogerontology, and geronto-oncology. She published over 80 peer-reviewed papers, is a frequent speaker at scientific and medical conferences in Asia and Europe. Long term member of various medical societies, e.g. European Federation of Internal Medicine, World Academy of Medical Sciences, Swiss Society of Internal Medicine etc. Evelyne spent a decade practicing medicine, lecturing at medical schools and performing clinical and translational research in New York, Shanghai and Basel, with extensive experience in scientific research and clinical practice.

Alex Zhavoronkov, Ph.D.

Founder and CEO, Insilico Medicine

Alex Zhavoronkov, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Insilico Medicine (insilico.com), a leader in next-generation generative artificial intelligence technologies for drug discovery and biomarker development. Under his leadership, Insilico raised over $400 million in multiple rounds from expert investors, opened R&D centers in six countries or regions, and partnered with multiple pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic institutions, nominated 11 preclinical candidates, and entered human clinical trials with AI-discovered novel target and AI-designed novel molecule. Since 2015 he has invented critical technologies in the field of generative artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning (RL) for generation of novel molecular structures with the desired properties and generation of synthetic biological and patient data. Since 2012 he published over 160 peer-reviewed research papers and 2 books. He founded and co-chairs the Annual Aging Research, Drug Discovery and AI Forum (10th annual in 2023), the world's largest event on aging in the pharmaceutical industry. He is the adjunct professor of artificial intelligence at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging.

Dr. Andrew Steele

Scientist and author of Ageless: The new science of getting older without getting old

Dr Andrew Steele is a scientist and author of Ageless: The new science of getting older without getting old. After a PhD in physics from the University of Oxford, Andrew decided that ageing was the single most important scientific challenge of our time, and switched fields to computational biology. After five years using machine learning to investigate DNA and NHS medical records, he is now a full-time writer, presenter and campaigner. He has appeared on Discovery and the BBC, produces his own videos on YouTube and gives live talks ranging from lectures to science stand-up at the Hammersmith Apollo.

Rajiv Ahuja

Associate Director, Milken Institute Future of Aging

Rajiv Ahuja is an Associate Director at the Milken Institute Future of Aging, where he focuses on aging policies and programs that support healthy longevity. He manages the Institute's Alliance to Improve Dementia Care, a multi-sector collaborative of 120 dementia organizations and thought leaders, where he cultivates interdisciplinary partnerships to improve the lives of older adults affected by dementia and their families. Rajiv spearheads efforts to incentivize policy, business, and technology-based approaches that promote brain health, combat stigma, reduce costs, and bridge health and economic disparities. Rajiv also works to strengthen the Institute's global aging networks to promote prevention and wellness for longer, healthier lives. Before joining the Institute, Rajiv worked as a healthcare consultant, supporting health plan and provider clients. Rajiv holds a master’s in Healthcare Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy and a JD from American University in Washington, DC.

Hans Keirstead, Ph.D.

Chairman of the Board, Immunis

Dr. Hans Keirstead is an internationally recognized stem cell expert and entrepreneur in regenerative medicine. He has pioneered therapies for cancer, immune disorders, motor neuron diseases, spinal cord injury, retinal diseases, immune disorders, and age-related immune decline, and created a novel multi-pathogen vaccine kit. Each of Dr. Keirstead’s three biotechnology firms was sold to major pharmaceutical companies for 2.5X-9.5X returns to investors, after return of investment capital. Currently, he holds board positions in several leading biotechs including AIVITA Biomedical, Immunis Inc., and the global Human Immune Project. During his 15-year tenure at the University of California Irvine, Dr. Keirstead mentored over 100 students, published over 150 manuscripts, and granted over 20 patents. His international media recognition includes being listed as one of Discover Magazine’s top 100 scientists, and highlights in Newsweek, WIRED, The New York Times, TIME Magazine, Science, and more. His scientific accomplishments have also been covered on 60 Minutes, PBS, and ABC news radio. Some of Dr. Keirstead’s notable awards include the “Top 20 Canadians” Award by the Consul General of Canada, “Most Innovative in Immune Deficiency Research,” by Corporate LiveWire, “Best Immune Deficit Treatment Development” by Global Health and Pharma, OCBJ’s “Innovator of the Year,” NIH Solowey award for noted national researcher of the year, recognition as a world thought leader at the Seven Wonderer's event by Beakerhead, and the Cameron Award for the best PhD in the country. Dr. Keirstead received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of British Columbia, Canada and pursued his postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, England.

Sophie Chabloz

Co-Founder and CPO, AVEA

Sophie has received an MSc in Food Science, Nutrition & Health from ETH Zurich. She combined this strong scientific background, years of industry knowledge working at a leading FMCG company, and her entrepreneurial mindset to co-found Avea. Her goal is to bring innovative and effective supplements with a focus on ingredient synergies to the market. Sophie’s passion for helping people achieve optimal health and well-being is what makes her thrive in her role as Chief Product Officer of Avea. Her personal interest in longevity began as she researched specific anti-ageing molecules during her studies and has since been on an active search to optimize her and her loved ones health and wellness routines. Her scientific background and interest in health supplements and rituals allow Sophie to do the necessary scientific research while maintaining a consumer-focused approach when creating Avea’s unique formulations.

Dr. Emil Kendziorra

Founder and CEO of Tomorrow Bio and President of the Board at the European Biostasis Foundation

Dr. Emil Kendziorra is a founder and CEO at Tomorrow Bio and President of the Board at the European Biostasis Foundation, a non-profit research foundation and institute in Switzerland. He has been leading multiple tech and medical companies, most recently as Founder and CEO of Medlanes (Exit to ZAVA) and onFeedback (Exit to QuestionPro). Prior to his career in entrepreneurship, Emil graduated summa cum laude in medicine from University Medical Center Göttingen - one of the leading medical schools in Germany - with a doctoral degree in translational cancer research. He’s a regular keynote speaker on future of healthcare, the overlap of healthcare, science and technology as well as a mentor to tech startups and an early stage angel investor. Emil has decided to dedicate the next decades of this life to Medical Biostasis and cryomedicine.
