Dr. Yi “Sherry” Zhang

Dr. Yi “Sherry” Zhang is a genomics scientist, entrepreneur, and systems builder working at the intersection of longevity science, AI, and venture creation. She is Co-Founder of Healthspan Horizons, an initiative launched from the Buck Institute for Research on Aging to make healthspan measurable, actionable, and scalable through trusted data, advanced analytics, and translational partnerships.
Sherry works closely with renowned systems biologist Dr. Nathan Price to build next-generation platforms spanning AI-powered health intelligence, longitudinal studies, precision diagnostics, and new commercialization pathways emerging from Buck Institute innovation.
She is the Founder and former CEO & CSO of GenoPalate, where she helped pioneer consumer genomics for personalized nutrition. Across her career, she has built ventures, led strategic partnerships, and translated frontier science into real-world products and businesses.
