Joshua “Scotch” McClure

Starting in 2015, Scotch dedicated himself to create health for the world, safely and affordably. As
Founder, CEO & Chairman of Maxwell Biosciences, Scotch leads a team of the world's top pharmaceutical, artificial intelligence, infectious disease and bioengineering talent including scientists, clinicians and executives.

An engineer with over 20 years of experience as a CEO and 10 years of experience as a corporate board
director, a graduate of the USAF Academy and a veteran of high tech warfare, Scotch has been a
leader of tech companies for over 20 years and has created multiple category-first companies.

Scotch is a multi-patent inventor, including antiviral applications of Maxwell’s platform and human gene
expression technology. A pioneer in the field of plasma proteomics, AI computation and biomimetic
drug discovery, he has a wide ranging interest in physics, theory of mind and consciousness,
information theory, nanobiology, and reversing disease and aging by restoring rejuvenative
homeostasis.

He designed and commercialized the world’s first dual core laptop in partnership with
Advanced Micro Devices. He is a graduate of the USAF Academy, with a B.S. in Management
and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
Scotch is a speaker in high demand, often creating the “must attend” keynote, delivering
keynotes at the Aging Research & Drug Discovery (ARDD) Meeting, the most scientifically
significant longevity conference in the world, on topics like “Is Aging Contagious?”

Invited to speak on the big stage at Wonderland, an annual international conference focused
on advances in psychedelic medicine, mental health and longevity science, he presented
“Antimicrobial Psychedelics vs Psychedelic Microbes: Swarm Theory of Mind.
”Scotch was selected to present “The Biotechnology of Synthetic Consciousness” at the
premiere and highly curated Deep Tech New York (DTNY) event, designed to highlight
technologies that will define the next 50 years and hosted by New York City’s "godfather of
tech," Kevin Ryan.
